The 6 again rule is no benefit to the attacking team on first tackle, it benefits the defence more as they are just getting the time to set the defence. For me it should be a straight penalty on the first tackle.

NRL have changed the rule this year to make it a penalty within your own 40.

Great kicking game from Abdull again last night, doubt it would be a possible given how HKR are progressing, but would be great to have him replace Drinkwater at the end of 2024.

Halifax v Bradford
Very professional performance by Halifax.
On paper this should have been close.
Considering Bradford had the likes of Bodene Thompson, Jordan Lilley, Jack Walker and Dec Patten, they were as disappointing as Halifax were whatever the oposite is!
Simon Grix had them all working off the same script. They were clinical in attack and their final plays were spot on pinning Bradford time and again back on their own line and in the corner.
I'm suprised they are mid table.

Hull finally get over the line against Giants who were pretty poor tbh and Catalan missed a conversion right at the end to take their game to sudden death.
