Sounds like the same tackle. I though Monaghan had tweaked his neck as he was regaining his feet, but as said its hard to see stuff like that as it happens.

How can you say the Penny try was perfectly good? It was clear as day on the first replay that it was Atkins who knocked the ball onto the Cas player! Blatant knock on and if it was given, it would have been a prime example as to why the ref sending a decision up as a try or not doesn't work.

Sounds like your TV may be faulty - need to get one of the rfl TV's which clearly show a different picture

Indeed. How can we not turn up tonight in a do or die game is beyond me. Intensity shouldve been full tilt from the off...then again we're just not good enough.

I thought it was more the fact Westwood had a bit if a second effort that forced the ball out rather that direct contact with the ball.
Regardless, it was stupid to concede a further 10m.

It's not clear as day, on the second angle, the cas player didn't get a hand on it. Atkins had two and then passed it back.

You must be stevo or whoever the video ref was (who was it?). I saw nothing conclusive - look at Atkins left hand which controls if first (back)

I thought Tony Smith gave a begrudging compliment to Cas when he said "enthusiasm can get you a long way" so why doesn't he instil that same enthusiasm into your team.
The big name players that Smith has at his disposal should have done much better. Taxi for Smith for me but would that leave you even worse with Agar?
