If your whispers are true, GOB might as well go walking round B&Q on a Sunday afternoon, if he's going to be playing Championship RL, next year.
Personally, I think you need to change your sources.

P.S. Couldn't give a stiff one, about McCarthey. He's gone, and was never exactly setting the world alight

Absoltely agree regards O'Brien. The "lad" is no longer a lad, he's done his apprenticeship on loan at Saints & Cas and sending him to play Chapionship rugby won't improve his game one iota. If we rate him, give him a fair chance, if not let him go so he can pursue a career as a half-back as opposed to a RL odd-job man.

My wish for 2015 is that as soon as the last ball of 2014 has been kicked, TS is sitting down to solve the half-back equation permanently.

You won't find anybody disagreeing on that one. Let's hope, as stated previously, that plans are already in place and couldn't be brought forward when Briers retired leaving us to make the best of it this season before the Messiah arrives for 2015
