I think I must have some in-built blood pressure protection reflex, I can only remember the previous balls up (Hi Liam).

The Russell Smith one stays with me though.

And I think one of the tries in the 80-0 Saints drubbing was a bit dubious. 74-0 feels better.

Excluding the obvious Russell smith call. What are the worst referee calls that you've ever seen in rugby?

Mine was a warrington vs widnes match in 2005 when were at tha Halton stadium. The referee. Who I forget who it was. Completely missed a successful drop goal from Lee Briers. Completely turning the game and I think we ended up losing as a result.

You sure it was 2005 as we played the Chemics 3 times that year and won all 3. The one at the Halton we won 25-24, Briers DG. That was Ian Smith who was the referee.

In the video ref era Ganson giving the try in the Hull Derby at magic weekend when the player was well off side. The RFL later apologised

No, ganson gave the try(quite arrogantly)in the Leeds game without even going to the VR. He was the video ref for the Hull Derby shambles.
