It's one for the few older ones on here..back at wilderspool Phil ford thought he'd scored a try at the railway end pond life corner only to ground the ball over the dead ball line..long time ago I know so not sure who we played that Sunday afternoon

Wasn't that match also live on sky and Alan hunte was the guy who ran half the field to score that try under the floodlights and running to the railway end.
