One of those players i wish someone had taken by the scruff of his neck and shook some sense in to him. He was absolutely Superb for us until he got injured and went off the rails. He could of had a great career with us, such a shame he spiralled :-(

Oh, how that 2016 season could have been so much different if he didn't get injured.

He's still only 33 and at this stage of his career, he should have been talked about as one of the great players. Had the talent to be an NRL legend, let alone a Super League legend.

An example of how to squander immense talent.

I did like Sandow when he was here.

But if we're making comparisons, Blake Austin or Graham Appo would be more appropriate. Both were also terrific for about 3 months.

People do like to go overboard with the "what could have been" tales. I mean people say that about Lee Briers, who at least did 15 years and was best halfback in the league for about 4 of them.

Lee Briers post Smith appointment was a much reliable player than he was before then.

With Appo and Austin there's no "what could have been" as they played on a lot longer than the period where they did turn a game.
I rated Sandow above Appo, and Appo above Austin, and having watched the Wigan highlights, only, I wish we had a half that possesses such handling skills and kicking game.
