Game 1, Dufty at fullback

Game 1 - Starting Forwards - Currie, mulhern, Daz Clark, Harrison, Holmes

Game 2 - Starting Forwards - currie, Bullock, Walker, Mikaele, J Clark ,

This is just a simple rotation for the forwards and fullback i think would work, if they are all fit and available. The rest can interchange with some of the youngsters maybe? Unless Toulose suddenly win the last 4 games they aren't urgently needed to win. So i agree about letting the youngsters play and get some game time :-)

Sorry but I don't understand your forwards selection. Unless you've come up with a novel idea to start with 5 forwards? Have I missed something?

It`s not against the rules, as far as I am aware and could be an innovated way of bringing a fresh forward onto the field 10 minutes after the game has started.

Scrums could be a problem, as we would still have to have 6 players in any scrum, before our extra forward was brought onto the field.

I don't see Powell messing around with players who will be in next year's spine like dufty. If we can get some combinations working amongst those players it will be a boost us going in to the next season. I just hope he plays Dean and allows him to do the longer range kicking.

I think DP will play Ratchford, at the expense of Dean. Also, I can see Minikin being on the right wing. As I've said before, our planning for the future isn't what it should be.

You're probably right regarding ratchford. I like stef a lot and feel his utility value has actually held his career back a little. He looks good at centre and fullback but to me he's never looked like anything other than cover in the halves. I think Powell is making a big mistake going for ratchford and Williams in the halves personally.

Second row, Prop, hooker, prop, second row, didn't think it was that hard to understand really :-)

Alarmingly, over the years , some of our wingers have made more impact than our props at first receiver.

You are flying in the face of convention ... but I can see where you are coming from now. Would you pick a loose forward or go for two full backs? Can you imagine Wigan with Field & French?

Jack Hughes won't be here next season. Now we're safe, these last 3 games should see youngsters like holroyd, Thomas etc get some valuable first team experience.

Call me sentimental but I think our Challenge Cup winning captain deserves a good send-off at our last home game of the season.

I'm afraid we do seem to have fallen out of love with virtually all of our players ... especially on this forum.
The youngsters seem deemed to be OK ... for now.
