Cas did block an approach to talk to Daz Clark. He is our superstar, The one player the club will not allow to leave, So would take stupid money to get him,
He is young, On a 5 year (Generously paid) deal. And every club in SL and some in the NRL would love to have him.
It would take almost a record transfer to get him.

What is it with Cas fans and this constant tone of "they will not be allowed to leave" or x player "will not leave Cas" or "it will take a world record fee". Gonk especially is desperately clinging on to the "Chase loves Cas, so he's never going to leave" rubbish
In reality, if a player from any of the lower placed teams gets wind of interest from a club who could realistically offer them trophies or other such success, then they will be off, whether the club likes it or not. Sure there will be a fee for contracted players, but world record money? Non.
It was the same with us in the years of Sculthorpe and Harris etc. It's just the way things are.

So what kind of fee do you think it would take ?
The club are hard up. But not desperate to sell our prize assets.
