Oh and Barrow away in the cup a few years back when the terracing was a waterfall. The one were Kidwell said he couldn't play in the rain.

halifax away in 99, they were building the new stands but hadn't put the roof on yet, the rain was so bad you were getting wet from below as well as above.

In recent years that has to be the worst conditions ,at times you couldn't see the other side of the pitch it was raining that hard and before the game it was nice and sunny and the folkes in the east stand were sat there in t-shirts very wet ones by the end of the game

Warrington v Bradford December 1995- midweek and the temperature plummeted - it was way below freezing by the time the game finished- people were literally shivering with cold , my mate told me he sat in the car after the game with heaters on full blast for 15 minutes to try and thaw out before even attempting to drive-

i remember that, there was a thin layer of mist hanging over the pitch at foot hight, bloody freezing.

Alan Cattrall was the bloke who tackled the Oldham mascot,ims,the mascot squared upto him.

My worst game would have been Wire/Haven late 70s. pee'd down all game,2 foot of mud and Haven won 1-0.
