halifax away in 99, they were building the new stands but hadn't put the roof on yet, the rain was so bad you were getting wet from below as well as above.
In recent years that has to be the worst conditions ,at times you couldn't see the other side of the pitch it was raining that hard and before the game it was nice and sunny and the folkes in the east stand were sat there in t-shirts very wet ones by the end of the game
I was glad I was in the southstand and was nice and dry !

i remember that, there was a thin layer of mist hanging over the pitch at foot hight, bloody freezing.
