Were not half way through the season and the club would be stupid to refuse the sponsorship. They (the sponsors) have done quite a large amount of sponsorship deals with local sports teams recently. God forbid they actually stop their promotional drive, just because the season has started

I suppose you don't agree with bringing in a coach 'half way' through the season, if we really wanted him we should have had him in place at beginning of season.

100& correct. We should be grateful for any sponsorhip, irrespective of when it arrives.

IIRC Big Storage have been on the player's sleeve since the start of the year. I'm assuming the sponsorship deal wasn't made until after the replica shirts were released, so to compensate the club/sponsors have arranged to give out the stickers.

I know big storage were having problems getting a suitable transfer that would wash off after a couple of washes. But, considering they are supporting the wolves as well as local junior football teams, the cubs/scouts and St Roccos, I think we should be more than happy to get the transfer on our shirts and support them as they support our community in more ways than one.

Big Storage?

Big Deal.

Is anyone really that bothered about this issue, seems trivial to me.

Frankly, I have no idea what you are whining on about. Basically:

Company offers to sponsor shirt - i.e. hand over much needed cash in return for a badge on the shirt.
Club offers to add badge on to shirts for fans who really feel they need their shirt to look like the players shirts.

Can't really be anything other than good news at best, nothing worth commenting on at worst?
