I bet business investors looking to relocate would have appreciated business loans or a relaxation of business rates to the tune of £1.3M instead?
Anyway I had a prior dealing with the NWDA at the Xpdia wireless development centre in Cinnamon Brow. The things I could tell you about how they squandered money would make you sick. If only the people n the public sector were as good as generating income revenues as they are at spending tax revenues. |

Hasn't some (or most I would imagine) of the funding for this come from that objective 1 thing?

I pass it every day and it`s, let`s say, crap. But as for the money, it wouldn`t have been spent on anything else but art, so to mention hospitals ets... is futile. As for the forgotton Birchwood `Angel of the North`, that is a telephone mast that was tarted up not a work of art
