With no threat of relegation we should be calmly assessing the squad. I doubt that we're going to offload any more a la Gleeson, Reardon, so salary cap constraints apply, too. I'm as worried as anyone by the dwindling crowds but rushing in one or two mediocre players now won't make the type of difference necessary. I'll only be disappointed if, by the start of the 2010 season, less than about ten bodies in our first team squad are not substantially different.
