I would have said it is squeakier bum time for teams with large overseas contingents like Wigan and the other teams that have twisted the current overseas quota system to allow them to have up to 10+ overseas players where as at Warrington we only have 6 Leeds don't have many and neither do stains

Aye but going back 3 years then both Saints and Leeds had a couple more overseas players than what they have now.

I couldn't give a toss really about any other club than Warrington.

But yet you couldn't help but bring Wigan into your original post, how odd.

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

Any wrong doing and Wigan will be at the centre of it ,you could put money on it whether it be salary cap breaches or anything underhand they were brought into my post because they have a large contingent of overseas players which is larger than most clubs they found a loophole in the overseas quota rules and have exploited it to the full but with this new Tax law about image rights I would imagine that they will be top of the list for players of foreign origin (doesn't matter if they count on the overseas quota or not )who have a lot of image right payments built into there salary .

Wigan always annoyed me

so did Maurice and DW

and their fans

plus i prefer pasties to pies and strange women to relatives

and guitars and canoes to banjos and pickups

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

About four years ago at a shareholders meeting Mo was asked why Wigan were not doing this.

He replied that he expected the Inland Revenue to clamp down on it and that Dave Whelan(who was THEN the owner) has specifically instructed the club not to do it.
