I really don't think we need it. It puts a bit of extra pressure on him. Silly idea. I think Sky should be told to have a re-think.

I reckon he should just wipe a big dollop of mud over the camera lens in the first set then not worry about it.

I'm surprised by the reactions here.

It may be a gimmick, it may not be.
What I do know is the use of the audio technology during the CC rounds was a real success imo.
The insight with Jamie Peacock, Ashton Sims and Gidley in particular was really good.

If it works - great. If not, no problem. Move on.
RL has never been afraid of trying out new things, some of which other sports have subsequently followed.
