after chatting to my very good friend..would you back against the team you support ..for example next week at edinburgh would you put money on the rovers and sit and watch the game knowing if wire lost you`d be picking up some money at the bookies..the amount is immaterial its the backing against your team that matters..i for one would never do it.what about you lot

I have done it lots of times.

At the end of the day, I look at it like this..

If we win, and I lose my bet, I'm happy because Wires / Man U have won and thats more important.

BUT

If we lose, and I win my bet, then the pill is sweetened by the fact that I have won some money.

i can hand on heart say i can be realistic as to say before a match that we are going to lose, being realistic Stains at KR for instance but putting money on it ?

ive bet against man utd loads of times cause usually the team they are playing are a decent price lol but as for wire ill bet like stuff like 1 of the other team player score 1st and stuff but more often than not ill never bet against wire

I would never bet on Warrington, quite simply because I'd be betting with my heart and not my brain.

Don't see an issue with it tbh. The issue comes if you actually wanted that team to beat you just so you could make money, which I'm sure doesn't happen.
