Does anyone else feel that this year the atmosphere has really been quite awful, especially in the South Stand?

I know we are having a dire year by Wire standards but whats happened, where have all the chants and songs gone.

Ciderman was next to me in the crowd and started a new song

''1 2 3 4 Wire don't sing anymore''

You know what, I think he is right.

My solution: - Move the home fans into to West Stand. Fence off the South Stand into two sections, home and away fans. This would get the balance right again. We need a 'Kop' style atmosphere behind the sticks.

Simple....lose the drum.

Install shutters inbetween the stands down during the game to lock the atmosphere in.

I honestly dont think the drums have any negetive effect on the atmosphere.

Tried to sing a number of songs today without drums, the problem is that no bugger joins in.

Huddersfield games have always been like that though, we only ever have a decent atmosphere when the away crowd is pretty large or it is one of the more well known / respected teams in town.

At the moment it is very difficult to get anything going with or without any drums.
