I drink Bitter for the main part. Though I like a good tipple of Stout, too.
A relative once told me that he starts his day with a pint of Cider to 'get the sock off his tongue' from Lager, then after two or three pints of cider, he's back on to Lager. Personally, I can't stand Cider, I find it revolting. I once bought a cider drinking friend a (sic) pint of the stuff at the match, only to find he couldn't drink that day due to medication he was on, so I was faced with downing my beloved Tetley's then poisoning my temple of a body with whatever was in this other glass. Anyway, I couldn't; everytime I put the rim of the cup to my lips, I felt myself heave. I actually used to enjoy an occasional cold cider, but for whatever reason, I can't bring myself to smell the stuff anymore.
I am also currently preparing for Martyrdom and (at least somewhat) boycotting my personal favourite drink of Tetley's when Carlsberg close the Leeds brewary.
