Ijust knew wire would click soon and one team would be on the end of a beating,
i think a few of us was waiting for a result like friday evening..
Remember something like this bout 3 seasons ago we couldnt win for toffee, then the next thing we went the jungle and registered 60+points on them.(cass)
so can we kick on from here, players seem to be fit and injury free,
i did notice louis anderson holding his ribs on friday,
so if hes not fit, what about jonno to 2nd row, riley back on the wing,
and ritchie mathers to fullback..........
Dont get carried away.Even though the team played well, thats the worst Bradford team I've seen in years. The club is in a mess financially and physically.See how we go against Huddersfield, before getting carried away.
so we now know this lot can perform and repeat effort against hudds who were garbage last night then we`ll fly up the table..just a thought..we played saints 1st game and we av stuttered along..leeds played saints in the cup and look at there next 2 games..not saying theres owt in it but makes you think...the only concern is that phil clarke said the winners of fri match will end up in the top 4.can we take that comment serious
Have we turned a corner ?? Possibly, but we won't know for sure until a few more weeks have passed and we look back.
However, Friday was the first time this season (apart from Saints 60 mins) when we played with any intensity in offence and defence. I thought Briers had an OK game, his kicking was not especially brilliant - it was simply a case of creating field position and defensive effort causing mistakes high up the field.
Defensively close to our line, we were still easily breached (as we were at Salford) despite Smiths comments that we have improved in this area.
Offensively I was impressed - driven on by Moz and finally giving the ball some air.
The Hudds game will be a great test on the back of Friday night, a big powerful confident pack will take some holding - a win will give us massive confidence boost,

What basis do you have for believing that? I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just interested to know why you believe that to be the case.

I'm sure I remember either Peter Hood or Chris Caisley come out and say they were in a mess financially, or words to that effect. Think it was round the time they last got two points deducted for breaching the salary cap. The change from Odsal to Grattan Stadium came soon after IIRC.
Come on chaps, give it a rest. Turned the corner because you beat a bunch of traffic cones. I wouldnt mind but they still score 20 odd past you, I'd be asking questions about that before making grand declarations.
