in my opinion this season......

the fans!

not only fickle, hyper critical, rude& derisive. i'm really perplexed i thought the word fan came from FANATIC, which i thought involved getting behind a team rather than booing abusing and slagging off individual players, and i feel, putting a "downer" on the club.

IT'S TIME TO SUPPORT OUR TEAM THROUGH THICK AND THIN!

lets shock ourselves tomorrow by raising the roof, i for one am just happy the west stand is open and i can retake my rightful place behind the sticks and all things going to plan we can be a few places higher in the league by tea time monday.....

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

The biggest problem is our fans are clueless about the game.

people demand change, then expect immediate success, the two very rarely happen close together.
change has to be a partnership between team and fans rather than a war.

monday is not gonna be an easy game for us but positive attitudes on the terraces will improve our chances by 10-15 % in my opinion, FWIW

Phil Gould has commented on how a new coach takes two pre-seasons to make a change to the culture at a club, citing Newcastle as an example.
