3 games played 114 against do we actually have a defencive coach????

Players have simply got to WANT to defend and this lot don't, especially near their line. Nobody can claim this lot are putting effort in when a team (catalans) scores tries out wide with an overlap when they are down to twelve men. That should NEVER happen.

That seems to be the problem here,
also players have got to want to play for the club have pride in the shirt e.t.c.

last week i was in the company of two past players,
dave chisnall,
ken kelly,
yes we were having a drink and a chat,
sorry i was listening to there uptake on the current situation at warrington,

these two blokes played the game for the love of it,
held a full time job down as well,
sometimes going to traning after of before going on a shift....

proabley walked to traning or cycled didnt go in there sponcered,
car with there name down the side of it,

if thse two pulled a shirt on today,
they would peform better than the,
current crop of overpaid jumped up ego setters.. sorry rant over.

We don't have a head coach either with the way we play at the moment.

I'd amend the thread title and call it Basic, Basics, Basics.

They should be concentrating on getting these right:-

Solid when defending. Not conceding any penalties for holding down, tugging a foot, high shots etc. Making sure that the oppositin has to work for every metre.

Error free when attacking and making the correct decisions. No stupid off-loads when we are on our own 20m line, safe passes, playing the ball correctly, keeping possesion for 5 tackles then a good kick to cause the opposition problems.

If they could get in the routine of doing this, the rest would come.

If I could see my team doing this, then I would applaud them off, win lose or draw.
