with all the discussion about king and penny; what are the alternatives and would they work??

How about:

of course if we are presuming that riley will be chosen at full back unless reardon plays and that briers and monas will be 6 and 7.

could any of these back lines be our solution.

You need to get Johnson and Gleeson back in the centres.

That way you can get King on the wing and drop Penny.

And mine. Readon was having a shocking spell of form before his injury and Reily hasn't put a foot wrong yet. I would really hate to see Readon back, the amount of points he cost us

When Gleeson isn't in the three quarters then there is no creativity whatsoever!

King needs a winger outside him who has class and works on the same wavelength. Not somebody who makes the same basic and poor run all the time ahead of him.
No wonder he never passes to Penny because he will always get called for a forward pass
