Anyway, enough of my nonsense. I had a soft spot for Rod since he joined but I'll be honest, I didn't expect much. He was solid today, put a few good shots on, was first in when Lolahia (sp) tried to drag Nicholson to bed and deserved his try at the end. I noted his rugby brain in the first half when Williams got caught in-goal and passed it to Rod who found ground, in play and away from touch.

He had limited involvement today but everything I noticed him doing was good. A try saving tackle in the first half, the incident you mentioned, and of course his try where he escorted Connor 10-15m over the line.

Connor is not who sky perceived to be in the day. Not good enough.
