Tried that one time and the train didn’t arrive due to some problem on the line, ended up sharing a taxi with 2 other guys, was not cheap lol.
We tried the train the first time in to Carcassone and the train times were different from what we had seen back in Warrington. We could.t get back to Carcassone after the game. We ended up getting a hire car, but it was expensive done over there.
I’d definitely look at the Barcelona route as an option, we’ve stopped at the Ibis as well, like you say it’s central and convenient for transport to the ground, 15 - 20 minutes walk to Perpignan station, thinking about doing it again on my own and probably when Wakefield play Tolouse.
