That's a worrying list of names there. Did you mean to include Tyrone Roberts?

So If mark forster is a judas for playing 17 ames for widnes. We should rip down the Brian bevan statue in a woke gesture for the 42 games that he played for Blackpool in his last 2 years of his career.
Let's excommunicate Paul cullen for his time coaching widnes.
And Mark hilton gave more to the club. More Than many others have given to the club. Asotasi. Sita. Sandow and Roberts. Blythe. Penny. Ormsby to name 7 off the top of my head.

And my comments are ridiculous. Okay then

As Bevan scored 549 tries more than Foz I think his statue should stay. I'm still mystified as to what 'The Beast' gave to our club and surprised you've not mentioned Andy Bennett as another Messiah.

Well if nobody else is going to comment on this ridiculous post then I'll have to. Mark Hilton (AKA The Beast - still the most misleading nickname in RL) played 186 times for Warrington, not playing very well in any of them. He was only a one club man as we were desperate and nobody else wanted him. By the way, Mark '2 testimonials' Forster went to play for Widnes, the Judas.

After he wasn’t offered a contract at Wire.
They actually looked after him, paid better, given a box, sponsored with a car and more importantly treated better. His own words.
He’s always been a Wire but was very happy at Widnes.

I have little sympathy for him. In truth, he has a whirlwind 15 weeks when he arrived, after that he was just ok until twitter chat of Williams started, why he saw an uplift in form. That suggests it’s was more of an effort/application matter than anything else (unless there was a spurious and coincidental injury)

Realistically, Myler was (and I’d argue still is) a superior half/pivot (whatever they’re called these days, numbers 1,6,7) than Austin. Myler has a better pass selection and is a calmer influence in the line, in my opinion.

Austin, when passing, always looks rushed. Which is a huge criticism of a half back. I remember Jason Smith coming over to Hull and Everton waxing lyrical about how much time he had on the ball. In truth, they all have the same time, it’s just how quickly they digest what is happening around them.

This was one of my criticisms of Bridge at 6. He actually COULD do everything. But could he do everything at pace, under pressure… no. Austin is an expensive Bridge, who also couldn’t displace Myler.

That said, buying marquees should not be a fast and loose process. In football terms, Leeds Utd had a really good crack isn’t he 90’s and early 2000’s when they spent big and bought names, shortly after they disappeared into the abyss of misadministration. We can’t let that become our fortune by replacing lagging journeymen another

By the way, what does good work in the community entail?
Helping old ladies cross the road?

Litter picking?

It's his rugby skills I'm interested in, not photo shoots in the Guardian at some school.

To be fair to him he did give up an hour a week for a good while playing rugby with kids near his house once a week. Created quite a buzz amongst the kids for a while and he made it fun for them and had a laugh. It's more than most overseas players do. Also saw him at the community club one of my lads play for a couple of times. No press around for that, although I think the kick abouts on the field did get some coverage.
