The pass from King to Clarke for the try was genuine momentum, the speed on which King was running needs to be taken into consideration and when you watch it again he actually throws the ball backward due to his body position and his hand movement you can tell that the ball was supposed to go back.

Good decision from Benthem imo.

Webster try was a forward pass and you can tell this by watching the player making the pass, his body never twisted and his hand movement were in a forward direction so momentum shouldn't be taken into consideration as the player made no attempt to throw the ball backwards.

Bad decision from Benthem imo.

A quick question here, When King hit the ball in the air over our own line, and Briers caught it and then was taken into touch, Bentham said that the bomb was defused, which at the time I though was correct. But then, watching the Celtic vs Wakefield game late last night, I see that wakefield did the same, yet it was a dropout as he was tackled behind his own try line. Which decision was wactually correct?

I thought we were lucky with that. As far as I am aware, that wasn't taken on the full, as it had come off another player, but maybe I'm wrong, as the ball didn;t touch the floor...

Momentum is to be taken into consideration.

Despite many people thinking this momentum thing is a load of nonsense that Stevo has made up, it is actually in the rulebook.

I thought Dave Woods and Noble did a good job of explaining the fact that it wasn;t a forward pass.

He went to the linesman and I thought that he had said it was defused, as we got the 20m restart after it didn't we?

No mate, your wrong,

The momentum rule does exist and due to the reasons ive stated in my last post the Clarke try was momentum, the Webster try was a forward pass, if we play to the rulebook then these are the decision's that should have been made.
