Wondered if any London / South East based Wires fancy watching the game in a pub somewhere in London / surrounding areas on Saturday?

It might be difficult given the FA Cup Final and the first game of the Lions tour is on that afternoon too.

But 5.30 KO might see us safe. If you know of any good venues where we could watch please suggest them.

I had a mare on Friday as I went to one of my favourite pubs in Central London and asked the bar man to put the game on - only for the (new) landlord to tell me it was a rugby union pub and he wasn't going to put that northern rubbish on. (pratt) Instead we were treated to Northampton - Borgoin which one person and the landlord seemed to be watching. It will be the last time I go there. I would have left and tried somewhere else but my mate walked in with 4 birds at that point so I changed my mind

I will be in Las Vegas on Sunday for a trade fair. I don't suppose ESPN or such will cover the Wire HKR match, which I guess will be on in early morning for me?

am working out in jersey at the moment, but will be at a wedding in essex somewhere on saturday. gonna have to make sure that t'tinternet on my phone is sorted, as its a cracking sporting day on saturday. any other day and i'd be watching all of those, with the wire game capping the lot!

Personally im fed up of the pubs down here, during MMagic i spent the whole day looking for pubs showing the games. Only one pub was showing and that was only the Catalan game no other(sports bar on haymarket). i ended up coming home and watching just the Wire (thank god we were last) on an illegal stream.
I don't have sky so thank god for the internet. Even the Aussie pubs didn't have it.

So don't hold your breath. Me personally i'll be staying home and watching the beeb in sunny old Barnet

Try the comedy upstairs downstairs back of leicster square they show loads of sport and had leigh v fev advertised the other week.

Others are Walkabout on shav ave and the Golden lion in soho.
