You will find that most head coaches will mentor their assistants, but assistants also have a valuable input in terms of the dynamics of the coaching team and also sometimes questioning why the head has done something or helping to work out why something did not work.

No.

If Lowes can feed off the experience of working under Tony Smith, I'm sure he will. But as you already know, Smith Isn't there to coach James Lowes, or bring his coaching on, that parts upto Lowes.

I'm not struggling with anything. I was trying to extract peoples expectations of what they want Tony smith to achieve in a non argumentative manner ie using the forum to express in the manner it is intended.
