I bet there are a few players who have extremely twitchy bums this afternoon.

Now the coaching excuse has been addressed the spotlight will now fall well and truly on the players to perform.

There is nowhere else to hide now guys

I reckon they might be able to stretch it out until the summer- you know when the grounds firm up and all that.

Or maybe, they'll be as excited as we are that they've in their belief like ours, got a bloke who can help this side/club realise it's potential.

In all seriousness, I am not entirely sure that's the case. If your players simply don't want to put the effort in on matchdays that's not gunna change with a new coach.

I think there maybe a bit of a clearout come the close season with new ideas being brought in at the same time.

that game you said i was playing wasn't too dangerous after all was it
the players who have been under performing will no doubt have to raise their games as tony smith will not be afraid to throw some of our improving youngsters out there,he will want to see what he's armed with although everyone starts with a clean slate as of today.
exciting times ahead for us wire fans and hopefully some much needed success.
