Hi all,
I want to get sky sports with virgin media but they want an extra £28 for the complete collection and I only want it to watch the rugby. They say I can just purchase one channel. Does anyone know whether rugby league is just on sky sports 1 or 2 or is it on both depending on game and day it's played?

Super League is usually on SS1 or SS2 but if there are a lot of major events on any particular weekend it is sometimes moved to SS3 or SS4, The Championship is usually on SS3 or SS4.

As said it's mainly Championship matche on Sky Sports 3 and 4. BT Vision offer Sky Sports 1 and 2 and ESPN for I think £11 a month - great value.

Its cheaper to nip to the local and have 3/4 pints a match. Was considering it, but like you said above, £28 a month, £336 a year just to have the sky sports. I wouldnt spend that much going to watch the matches of my choice.
There will be weeks where you will be out / on holiday / working / other commitments and wont be able to watch the match, and other weeks where its, for example, Catalans Vs Harlequins and would choose to watch something else.
Save your dough, go the pub and watch the games you wanna watch. |

That's ok unless your local landlord is a miserable scouse git who claims there's "no call" for the rugby league to be on, and when I pointed out that actually there was, as I was asking for it on, he just walked off........

A freind of mine has just been installed with BT Vision and he said he is paying £11 for Sky Sports 1 and 2 and also ESPN. |
