Your best bet is to park in one of the side streets just after the railway bridge near the park.
Take a left off the A49 when you can (Norfolk Street I think) and then check back on yourself to park in one of the one way streets. You miss most of the traffic then after the game and there are roadworks at the junction as well so....

I normally park before the railway bridge as it's a bottleneck for the traffic and takes an age to get past. It's a bit longer to walk but you still end up walking faster than the cars.

Hope that works... That's the route I usually do, if you stay in the right lane on Caroline street then go through the industrial estate you can miss most traffic
