What's the deal with the club using land around the stadium? We have 4 corners, 2 are being used for the forthcoming extension, one for sky if the game is televised, what about the other corner? Relocate the Hogie Wagon and get some plastic chairs from Tesco

The question, again, is why Casual Cider Desmond Pennington thinks it so clever to choose avatar images that totally contradict each other.

I will never be able to read anything he writes, constant drivel that it is, without remembering that he thought it appropriate to have Mengele as his image.

I'd have thought this alone would have fallen foul of the AUP; all the stuff about posting offensive content.

I'm annoyed at myself for even commentating on him. But letting it pass without comment is perhaps even worse.

Personally I think a fanzone at any ground would be quality. Blackburn Rovers have beer tents for away fans etc. this kind of thing would be really succesful in RL especially in summer months.

Why let the pubs around the ground make all the money before the match, the club could be selling twice as much beer.

Exactly. Am glad someone like my idea.

To make this work we would need the following...

1) A spare bit of land to put up a tent, maybe we could get the council to make the street (behind South Stand whats the name?) pedestrian only and have a marquee there? After all theres only a few small companys along there who dont create much traffic.

2) A decent beer supplier, not the crap served in the ground. I don't mind paying over the odds for a beer, but not the stuff they serve in the ground.

3) Possibly some decent marketing people at the club to make this attract the fans new and old. Something like this could attract non rugby fans if it had real ale and guest ales like strawberry beer on draught!
