The word 'celebrity'
I watched (for about the 100th time) An Audience With Billy Connolly last night, and the audience was 'chock-full' of proper stars, e.g. just off the top of my head
Ringo Starr (a Beatle)
Bill Wyman (a Stone)
members of Queen and the Quo
a World champion boxer (Barry McGuigan)
a world cup winner (Jack Charlton) and about 10 other footie stars
Hollywood/tv royalty (Judi Dench, Bob Hoskins, Julie Walters, Bernard Hill, Parkinson, Clive James etc)
My missus was watching one of the recent ones (an Audience with Neil Diamond), and you could barely identify anyone in the audience
A second round evictee from Big Brother
a weathergirl from regional TV
Some 18 year old kid from a soap
someone who puts up shelves in a makeover programme.
FFS, THESE PEOPLE ARE (SUPPOSED TO BE) FAMOUS
Women (usually MILFs) who walk round with sunglasses in their hair, when there isn't even the remotest chance of sunshine that day
Warrington Borough Council's double standards when it comes to beurocracy
