did you know that unless the fine is from the police or the council you don't have to pay it! they can only fine the driver, not the owner & have to be able to prove who parked it, by law you have no obligation to inform the enforcement company who was driving. my wife parked my car at a certain ten pin bowling establishment near where i live one day to collect the kids from school, there were no signs saying do not park, the place had closed down months before, i recieved a letter demanding £200 for
parking there. i was out of the country at the time in perpignan watching the wire and informed them of the same. i also took some advice from a solicitor friend advising me as long as they cannot prove who was driving they don't have a leg to stand on! as i don't have to tell them who was driving.
now if they clamp you your fooked!
