Well if you're not happy with the HJ you could always go and watch Saints next year. You seem to have forgotten that without Tesco and the HJ this club could well have died.

No need to be sarcastic. I was simply stating thart plans should have been made with Tesco's to ensure the environment is protected and ensuring some greenspace was built in with the stadium.

Tesco's the biggest supermarket in the country, they dictate towns and make them 'supermarket towns'. We have become that, in order to get things from Tesco, you have to give a lot. We gave them loads of land and asking for 'green space', just so you and 'El Casuals' can take pictures of yourselves in your Sergio Tacchini trackies in the sun, takes the mick. Of course, that was your obvious intention.

As lovely as it sounds, a picnic area just isn't possible. People can't have everything. Our stadium is often praised because it's easily accessible, there is plenty of parking, a train station a minute away and it is a minute away from the town centre and bus station. In order to make a stadium in the town centre work, you have to give up things like 'green space'. I'd gladly keep the great transport and access over a picnic area for filthy smokers to ruin.

Instead of every home game,it would be a idea if in the summer. A family fun day is put on.

If any sports venue in the UK has this, I'll eat my (high quality) hat.

Just behind the Hawthorne and running through to Winwick Road you have a little park area called the Brick Fields. Get yourself a bouncy castle, a beer tent, an ice cream van and its a goer. Only a few minutes walk to the ground.

1. It's Teesside.
2. I'm not a Teessider, I'm Warrington born and bred. I just happen to live here.
3. It wasn't an insult. You know as well as I do that without the new stadium, Wire as they are now would not have happened.
4. Get rid of that bloody avatar, it is insulting.

But at about 400 yards it seems its to far for RP to walk.

Let's just say, whether it's a good or bad idea, it isn't happening?

No not happening but on a glorious summer day like today it would be ideal to have a picnic area. Hope the club take note!
