Hull FC have named a pretty much full strength side for the game on Friday. Can still see some players dropping out though - Shaul and Ellis namely

Can see this being a good game, especially after our confidence boosting win at Widnes. Not got much hope for the attendance however, can't see it getting anywhere near the 4k the club want.

I can see you beating us to be honest, i think we are going to be too distracted by next week, with the Cup being a huge focus this year.
Finishing 3rd before the split wont be too bad a return so far if we get a Cup Final out of it

I think you'll edge it, could do with the win though so we finish above Lids.

Would it effect the fixtures in the Middle 8's if you go above them?

Not really we are already above them.

If we win we are guaranteed 9th and either Hull KR or Leeds will finish 10th. If the Hull KR and Leeds game isn't a draw then it will make very little difference to us (we would still get 4 home games). It would just be nice to finish above Leeds, we deserve it!

Well, last night's result has meant we do not have to travel to Hull KR as whoever came 11th has to travel to both of whoever comes 9th or 10th.
Beat Hull we travel to Huddersfield and avoid a trip to Leigh. Lose tonight and we avoid a trip to London but end up having to travel to Leigh.
Interestingly, Huddersfield have to travel to both HKR and Leigh.
