The Sandow Show as the Wolves Pip the Devils Second visited sixth as the Wolves of Warrington looked for the two points that would put them out on their own at the top of Super League. Tony Smiths side were up against a Salford Red Devils side which lost narrowly at the DW last weekend and were themselves eyeing equal top spot after a steady start to the season. The Devils had already collected the scalps of Saints and the Vikings but were up against one of only two remaining unbeaten sides in this season’s competition. The Wolves were without Gidley, following a head injury sustained last week, but welcomed back Stefan Ratchford who was playing for the first time this season.
