Glorious stuff. Only thing we'll have to cheer all night!

Interesting Saints are using Tom Van and Watkins as a way of honouring the first match at their new stadium and we used some X-Factor no mark.

I think it's a great idea. Both sides have legends in their past and why not make the most of an opening night to celebrate those legends?

Here is a quote from Royce Simmons ahead of the game..

"If it was the Grand Final, all five could probably play but we're not going to rush them back and we're not going to needle players up at this stage of the year,"

It appear he takes SCR as serious as many of it supports, despite their injuries I will be gutted if the marging of victory for Saints is no more that 30 points.

Im sorry to say, but just how bad are SALFORD, ?

Saints have the right idea on how to launch a new ground, new season,

Like someone said before me , what do we get, x factor, and a barrow boy???

Maybe with Sale moving in now,(god help us), Tarry and the rest of the idots running our club, will hopefully get a wake up call, or even better leave it to Sale to run both clubs, at least by the look of things, Sale no how to run things.

Salford's marketing strategy is to appeal to and attract new fans to Rugby League and Salford, therefore they are working on the premise that these people won't have heard of the greats of the past, as HR said on another post things go around and change in 5 year cycles, therefore as the majority of people will have heard of an X-Factor no-mark these would be the pull factor to get the new fans in. Unfortunately we have a population that has been fed on a diet of Z list celebrities and aspiring to appear on Jeremy Kyle in the last 5 years and we are now reaping what the TV companies have sown, how much longer before our beloved game is split into quarters because the fans concentration levels are at a max of 20 mins before they crave a different entertain and then back to rugby again.
