Just watched a good interview with Mr Salford. Mentioned the stadiumand the search for a new coach all very commendable. Then it went back to the studio only for them to say the stadium is in a great position.......they failed to say it was just down the road from a sewage works.!!! Talk about journalistic licence.

Would that be a rented one that's built by the council ? The same council that Swinton is under ? The same council who see Swinton Lions as insignificant enough to not even include them as an option to play at a stadium built by them ?
I'd play IN the sewage works rather than be in the same position as Swinton Lions.

One thing I will say for the Willows is that it is and always has been a proper Rugby ground where you can feel the intensity of the games, unlike these modern ones where half the time you have to sit down in cramped seats.
So yeah it's not to bad.
