Surely PW must take some responsibility in this also. If he felt he wasn't ready he should have said so. You could argue that quite alot of players who come back from injury risk making it worse. They were just luckier than him.

I think this is a vile topic and one for which you should feel ashamed of starting. Do you honestly think that Mcrae and Simms would intentionally and knowingly risk a players career? What kind of people do you think they are?

As I posted on another thread....

It probably was too early to return to first team but he'd come through at least one reserve fixture OK and given the injury problems and lack of quality we've got in the three-quarters I can understand why they decided to rush him back. Especially as wingers don't tend to get smashed in tackles as much as centres and forwards. Clearly wasn't a gamble that paid off though!

With so many liability claims these days the clubs medical staff will have followed the correct procedures and have documented records supporting the decision to let White return to football duties.

The Coach or Football Director will have no authority to over rule the clubs medical staff.

IMO this post can be interpreted as a little bit mischievous, aren't McRae and Simms getting enough stick on here without blaming them for this as well?

The much loved Aussie duo will be getting blamed for the credit crunch and global warming next!

I reckon it was just freak accident, all they can do is go off the medical reports and hope its ok, an injury is always going to weaken a joint, i know they said it was arisk but its always a risk putting a player back in after such an injury.
