Hi Salford fans
I've been trying to piece together my fathers rugby career, his name is Joe Argent, he signed for Salford from Widnes around 1965 and played untill 1967. and then moved on to Rochdale.
I would be gratefull if anyone could give me any information about his time at Salford, or put me in touch with anyone who can,
I'm trying to find the match's he played in so I can find programmes, newspaper articles, or photos whilst he was playing at Salford,
Any information would be helpful

Played - 20
Sub - 2
Tries - 4
Goals - 0
Points - 12

The book says his debut was against Workington Town on 29th January 1965 but if you check the season by season I think it should be 1966. He scored in a 36-8 home defeat against Wigan on 15th March 1966. And he also scored a hat trick against Leigh on the first game of 1966/67 season in a 38-5 win.
