Richard Silverwood returns to refereeing duties on Sunday [1/3/09] after the Rugby Football League lifted his suspension
The 32-year-old official had been suspended on full pay pending an investigation into claims he breached the RFL's data protection and IT policy.
Silverwood, who is one of six full-time Super League referees, was accused of passing on information on fellow referees to a trade union.
Has is due to officiate in the Northern Rail Cup match between Barrow and Keighley after being issued with a formal warning following the completion of an internal disciplinary hearing and.
In a statement, the League said: "At the hearing Mr Silverwood made a full and unreserved apology to the RFL and those affected by his actions.
"He also expressed his long-term commitment to his role as a match official and that of developing young new match officials."
