It wouldn't suprise me if after the disgraceful behaviour of some of our fans Parker told the club to stick the captaincy. Leaving the club no other alternative than to reinstate Alker.

One thing I have noticed is a conspicuous lack of any apology from Mal. Whatever did go on in Florida and before was sufficent to take the captaincy off him. Whilst glad he is back as I agree he is the teams natural leader I am dissapointed at the lack of any contrition from him.
On the bestselling game of bag your club, lets all get a reality check we are in a very very tough League judge em in July not now. Roll on Saints !

its a 50/50 choice for me.i like the way he is a leader on the field, talking alot to the players on the field sorting them out and lifting the spirits up.but when i heard about him what happend in florida didnt come to a suprise really.i ignore him when i see him out drinking now,but not just him theres a few off the players too.I was annoyed that rob parker was handed the captain because hes new to the club.should off given it to stapleton.I hope that rob parker gets better now as the season goes on.

I'm not sure i agree with the decission but having said that i will find it hard to criticise if performances start to pick up!

if performances do pick up it says alot about te players we have at our club. Personnally as much as I want us to be a better team i'll be less than happy if we miraculously become a rugby team again just because Alkers pals have underperformed on purpose.

good point, but as i say i'm not sure i could say they should't have done if if we start getting consistantly better results.

Having said that i can't see it really. I don't think the captain is the only reason for our bad performances at the moment!
