As for the reception today I wish some fans would get over themselves with all the abuse aimed at him. He moved for more money and to a better team. I cannot name many sportsmen that would choose to perform in the Salford team rather than Wigans based on tonights encounter.
I think the way he went about things(and Wigan to be fair) was pretty poor though in the respect that he'd obviously agreed to sign for us before the deadline.
He had been a good servant for Salford though and had turned down Wigan in the past to stay with you guys so he does maybe warrent a bit more of a reception.
It's all banter at the end of the day though.
