will be an interesting game Saints started very badly last season in new surroundings so history might repeat itself.

We will have to be at our best to get anything from this game, as long as we put 100% in thats all us fans can ask for

I really don't get all the moaning, everyone on here is on the net, therefore everyone on here can get to the Saints Website and pick where they want to be.

As for the allocation sent to the club. The Saints club have to be able to give an allocation of tickets. 400 where allocated that would not be sold on the web, that was the section that could take 400.

The allocated sections and the west stand are already sold out, Saints fans who bought west stand tickets have been transfered to the east. There is over 14,000 already sold which means that the spaces are only in the east and the unallocated sections. Hence Salford being allocated a group booking in 1 particular section for the group feel. If you are fine mixing in with the Saints fans in the East then buy from the East.

A couple of responses. Firstly, Saints have been taking up the seats. Almost all our allocated seating is now taken up by season ticket holders. The bit you are going in is one of the unallocated sections of the North STand which has been put aside for your use, meaning Saints fans won't be able to take those seats. Secondly, there was an issue following our friendly against Widnes whereby some dumb Saints fans decided to switch stands, overloading one end of the West Stand. The H&S bods have not taken kindly to this and as a result (a) Saints have made the West Stand season ticket holders only (a lower number than the stand's capacity) and opened up the East Stand to Saints supporters to compensate, and (b) closed off the continuous concourse.

I believe moving Salford fans was done following a discussion with Salford club who will have understood (a) the challenges in opening up a new stadium and (b) the fact that Salford never bring more than a couple of hundred fans even though they are just a spit away down the East Lancs Road. Sure, Salford fans could have been put in with Saints fans but (a) most away fans want to be together and (b) we still have to earn our capacity and crowd management is clearly one aspect holding us back thanks to the Widnes game (our capacity has been restricted to 17,200 as a result of that game).

It is sad that some Salford fans are taking the attitude they are taking but it is nothing new and only your team will suffer.

I'm very surprised that as the club were criticised for bringing a 'no mark' from X-Factor to the SCS and not a former player,that they are not travelling in numbers to see a former player from a successful era lead the side out at Langtree Park.

Just for SaintsFan I am reliably informed that should Salford win both Phil Veivers and Sean Long will show plenty of emotion which will undoubtedly make them better coaches than Mick Potter,for that alone.
No need to remind me how many young players in the Saints side,tomorrow night,were blooded during the time Mick Potter did a magnificent job,despite the injuries sustained during his tenure.

But, I have made an excuse and I was honest? The same honest excuse that I made the first time but rephrased for clarity.

Good luck to Saints this year. Rather impressed by the stadium your club have built and fully expect to Saints challenge for honours this year. Just feel it's a shame that admission prices have risen in an era of economic instability.
