Better than a multistorey carpark for the zillions of new fans, how about a multistorey park and ride, just outside the congestion charge zone. It could bring in more money than the proposed retail outlets, hotel, casino, exhibition space, funfair, conference centre, Salford parliament building and indoor sports facility combined. We'd be able to compete with the big boys then.

Vote yes to the congestion charge. The club could be on to a winner.

I used to have a dutch girlfriend. She had a passion for inflatable footwear. Sadly she is no longer with us...She popped her clogs last year
