I'd take Dobson over him, not Chase. You'd be far better off playing Dobson with Fages next year.

Pretty much in keeping with the tone of most of your posts in this thread though.

Echoing what "Legends and Icons" said, it's a good deal for both clubs as far as I'm concerned.

Correction - Mark Aston Tried to draft Sneyd into the Ireland Squad for the 2013 RLWC - but took too long to prove his eligbility ( Shamrock & a Guinness Label in his English Passport ) so James Mendeika took his 6 spot. shame as he would have played alongside Liam Finn !

I think Sneyd was under- appreciated in our squad in 2013, with the merry go round of coaches - Veivers- Hunte/Long - Veivers brought in the legend that was Liam Foran & then Noble brought in Lee Gaskell in his other best position . Even so he played 26 games last season half at Fullback, Half at 6. Glimses were there but he was by no means the finished article , everything has gone well for him this season and I wish him all the best on his next move.
Is he worth 100K+ i don't know, time will tell , but it would be foolish for us to comment ... we forked out a reoprted 70K for Timmy Smith ..

Personally I think it's a brilliant deal for us. I'd have been happy if we'd paid double, Pearson can afford it. He fits in to what we're trying to do as a club by building a core of young, talented players (mostly from Hull) with a couple of older heads with a bit of quality (Ellis, Paea, Pryce etc.). Pretty much trying to replicate the Wigan/Leeds/Saints models.

You're out of date. Young talent was last years pass sale gimmick.
This years is small skinny squad. Do keep up.

1865 (taken over by Gateshead in 1998) is the type of fan who would have a 15 page argument
on how good a signing Jimmy Cranky would be if the club announced it.

Of course Fc fans are saying its a great signing, and it is a good signing, but Sneyd is not worth 100k, they've overpaid. I'd be a bit miffed if my club had forked out that much for a rookie. Sneyd could prove a good capture but FC have now set their stall out in regards to transfer fees that could come back to bite them later. I also love how chase is now so terrible in the eyes of same FC fans - is this the same Rangi Chase FC were absolutely desperate to buy but couldnt due to visa issues...

So we look on the brink of getting rid of all the Cas bells who've been infesting this place recently and we get a replacement crank from Hull instead. Marvellous.
