Nothing at all stopping Salford fans buying tickets in whichever stand they like from the Saints website. You can't expect exclusivity in a stand holding 3 or 4 thousand people when you will only bring a hundred or so. But if you want to stand in the East stand, buy a ticket for it.
Not all fans have the internet, most fans will just get whatever tickets their club shop is selling, £23.50 is too dear for Rugby League. I can accept we can't expect exclusivity of stand.

Well I'm going with colleagues who are Saints fans , looking forward to it , reasonable chance they'll be playing on grass this week , Carpet next week . £ 23.50 isn't as costly as the north stand at Leeds:- I paid £25.00 in 2009 for the ;priviledge of a dodgy Wood seat, £27.00 this season.
it will be to travel the further distance to Hull FC who haven't reached the Grand Final for the past number of years.
There is no doubt in my mind that the followers of a club who lost their Super League licence and returned as a club in Championship 1,at Wrexham, would have more in number at St Helens and manage less whinging.
Pathetic.I'm sure the players are impressed with your loyalty and devotion.

If they would have charged us the normal away price of £18.50 I'm sure we'd have taken a few more. We are basically being charged an extra £5 just because it's the first game at their new stadium. However I look forward to Salford fans being blamed for when it doesn't sell out.
your not being charged an extra fiver because its a new stadium, you have been moved into the seated stand which is normally £23:50 , simply because of the demand for tickets from Saints fans who, understandably are excited and want to be there at the first game, nothing to do with screwing Salford fans or blaming them if we dont sell out
What a moaning lot we are, its too cold, it too hot, its too expensive, I want to stand I want to sit down, we are crap the excuses go on, Yes we are paying a little bit more but I am following my team in a brand new stadium first competitive match at the saints new ground & we still cannot get up for it, do we really want to be part of super league, we should be itching to be there. Come on Salford!

Why don't these saints fans who are so keen to go pay £23.50 to go in the seats then? Salford have been given around 400 tickets. Could have easily given us 400 tickets for the normal away section and still had 3000 Saints fans in there. Or are we going the way of football and having segregation now?

Would imagine there will be plenty still going who are up for it. Paying £23.50 (most expensive away ticket in superleague) for a game of rugby isn't everyones cup of tea though.
because I assume they want to stand and as they couldnt get into the West Terrace Saints put them in the East there was nothing stopping you from buying East stand tickets from Saints , I thought we had a lot of moaners on our forum, sheesh , if you dont want to pay then dont come, i am sure we will still have a good time without your august presence
