The lay by has been closed to general traffic, local truck and van drivers cursing.
A reply to the email I sent to the The Airfield Lodge at Barton Airport.




We do all sorts of meals and drinks dont know if you have already been in but just to give you a quick run down we offer 2 for £11 on main meals before half 6 lager £2.80 per pint john smiths £2.60 bottles £2.60 not sure what the prices are like in the stadium but we are hoping alot of the supporters will be coming in before and after we have a licence till 11.30pm

I suspect that attempting to use it after a drink would result in a free drink and bath in the Manchester Ship Canal.
