If I were Salford I'd sign a try scoring outside back.
Not that the current ones are bad but if I had the money you guys have I'd be trying for the next Offiah or even an Atkins whose skill is out and out speed and tries.

Brian Noble has already said an extra outside back would be the final signing. It looks like they were set to sign Keiran Dixon before his injury, but are still keeping tabs on him.

Dixon could be that guy actually. Didn't see that.

I have been watching replays of the championship games from last season on premier sports. I must say that Johnson shows a lot of ability going forward and is lightening fast. Brian Noble is no mug and has been commentating on these games all last season so he knows exactly what he has got with Johnson and Walton.

Johnson was very quick and powerful when with us but was weak under the high ball. Don't know how/if he has improved that. If he has he could go well for you.

How big is Johnson? I dont know whether he was this size whilst at Batley last season, or whether he's bulked since joining us but the guy is a unit. Combine that with his strength and we have potentially a very, very good winger.

I was thinking the same. He's bulked-up quite a lot. Could see him bagging quite a few tries this season with speed and strength combo.

I forgot to add Danny Williams has also bulked up considerably too. We all know how much Noble likes a big winger, so this obviously isnt a co-incidence.

I was concerned at our options of Williams, Johnson and Meli for next season but I think Noble might just know what he's doing.
