In all honesty yes! I didn't expect us to be higher than 13th but I did expect us to play with passion and conviction. The team whilst not up to scratch are not the inexperienced team certain people like to make it out as being. NRL payers who need time to adapt! Give me a break the game isn't THAT different to what they have been playing upto now. Players with enpough experience already in SL who aren't playing to the levels they \re able to.

We don't have 3 years to get it together we have 2 until we have to apply for franchise licence renewal.
a crap team = a smaller attendance = less money to spend = less competetive team = no franchise renewel. simple as.

But I promise to enjoy it in a S&M type way

You cannot compare the two, all Salford fans ask, is it's team play & compete for 80 minutes.
Fan are not going to waste there hard earned cash for a team who cannot or will not play together, so why should the fans support them.

as a huddersfield fan,i know how these pastings hurt every week so you have my sympathy.
i dont really rate mcrae as a coach personally and was surprised salford brought him back when they did.
so whats the problem? is it just the fact that you are not ready for super league despite last season's relative success?

Where you guys saying this last year when Salford won the championship grand final, finished league leaders and also won the northern rail cup.

I think not.

What you need to appreciate is that it is a huge step up from NL to SL.
Castleford found that out last year, and Hull KR before that, however they were patient with their coaches and its payed dividends in the long term.

You need to look at how the fellow promoted side are doing, and a quick look shows they havent won a game at all.

This year is not the time to criticize your coach, next year is the time to do so, if you are still getting thrashed.
With a further off season and recruitment, Salford should be able to strengthen their team. Players will also have learned of the fitness demands of Sl and should have put the extra effort in to ensure they can compete physically.

If you cant do the basics right then your in trouble.The players look shattered there is no confidence in the team or conviction to each other you only have to look at Alkers reaction to Wilsheres mistakes. Then you get the same old crap coming from Baron Greenbacks mouth! Its his team he coaches them he picked the players so if he cant give us the answers get someone in who will!
